    SEC, federal grand jury probe GM recalls

    The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and a federal grand jury are investigating General Motors Co. over its handling of the massive recall, as the government probes into the ignition switch crisis widens.

  1. GM earns $125M in 1Q, down 85.5%

    Recalls cost General Motors Co. $1.3 billion in the first quarter, shrinking the automaker's profit to a slim $125 million, the automaker said today. A top GM executive said it's too early to predict if GM will incur additional recall costs this year.
