Allen Park — Receiver Calvin Johnson, who continues to battle right knee soreness, was back on the practice field Wednesday.
He went through warm-ups, position drills and ran routes during the portion of practice open to the media. He has not practiced on a Wednesday the previous three weeks.
Also practicing, at least in limited capacity, were running back Joique Bell (ribs) and cornerback Rashean Mathis (groin). Neither player was able to finish the game Sunday.
Not practicing were right tackle Jason Fox (knee), running back Theo Riddick (concussion), tight end Tony Scheffler (concussion) and safety Louis Delmas (knee). Riddick was on the field taking mental reps, which is a sign he's closer to being cleared.
During position drills, defensive tackle C.J. Mosley was being tended to by trainers. He was getting either his leg or ankle wrapped.
The injury report will be out at 4 p.m.
