A snow-and-rain mix has passed through Metro Detroit and the area can expect to see some patchy drizzle over the next couple of hours as well as some snow Wednesday.
“We’re looking at lows in the low 20s,” said Dan Thompson, a National Weather Service meteorologist stationed in White Lake Township. “And we’re looking at some light snow tomorrow, maybe about a half an inch.”
Highs will be in the upper 20s, Thompson said.
Temperatures are predicted to stay below freezing after this evening’s rain. The Michigan Department of Transportation’s Mi Drive interactive traffic map showed no major incidents or accidents on Metro Detroit freeways as of 8:40 p.m.
Meanwhile, DTE Energy’s outage map showed a few customers around Metro Detroit having problems with their electrical service Tuesday night.
