Detroit — Autopsies have determined two men found in a burning Detroit house were stabbed to death.
The Wayne County medical examiner’s office Tuesday listed the deaths as homicides. The men have not yet been positively identified.
An autopsy could be performed Wednesday on the body of a third man who was pulled Monday from the burning house on Bentler Street and later died at a hospital.
Two of the men were found in the basement of the house.
Detroit Fire Chief of Arson Charles Simms says it appears the fire was intentionally set and “multiple ignition points” were discovered.
Police Sgt. Michael Woody told the Associated Press in an email Tuesday morning investigators are awaiting a review by the medical examiner’s office.
