Suspect sought in robbery of Huntington bank in Pontiac

Pontiac Oakland County Sheriff's deputies seek help in identifying a bearded, bald man who robbed a Huntington bank at gunpoint Monday morning.

The suspect entered the bank in the 1800 block of N. Perry Street about 10:38 a.m., sat down in a waiting area and began writing out a bank receipt, according to bank employees. The suspect approached the teller and implied he had a weapon and demanded money from the teller. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash that the suspect put into a black backpack. The suspect then left the bank heading west bound on foot.

A K-9 unit later followed a track to the rear of the strip mall.
