British pop singer Charli XCX to headline Detroit concert

British pop singer Charli XCX will perform at Detroit’s Saint Andrew’s Hall on Oct. 11, venue officials announced Monday.

Tickets for the show, $15, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at livenation.com.

XCX is featured on Iggy Azalea’s current No. 1 smash, “Fancy,” which has sold 2.5 million downloads to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Her current single “Boom Clap,” which is featured on the soundtrack to “The Fault in Our Stars,” is currently No. 25 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart and No. 10 on SoundScan’s Digital Songs chart. It has sold 421,000 downloads to date.

The Saint Andrew’s Hall show will be XCX’s biggest local headlining concert to date. She opened for Marina and the Diamonds at Saint Andrew’s in May 2013.
