Police ask for help in Livonia shooting

Livonia Police continue to investigate a shooting that left a 29-year-old Livonia man critically injured early Saturday.

Police say the victim was apparently taking a walk around 12:20 a.m. Saturday in the 15000 block of Foch street near Five Mile and Inkster roads when four men approached him in a sedan and one of its occupants got out and began shooting.

Officers said the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was taken by ambulance to a hospital for treatment. He was listed in critical, but stable condition.

No additional details were released Sunday.
