A northwest Detroit man died Saturday night when he and his wife were shot after an argument with a neighbor, police say.
The trouble in the 20100 block of Mendota began about 9:40 p.m., when a 28-year-old resident of the block argued with her female neighbor outside. They began physically fighting, prompting the victim’s husband to invene, police said. A man who also lives on the block shot the couple before fleeing in a car with the female neighbor, police said.
The 30-year-old man died at a hospital, while his wife is in temporary serious condition, police said.
