Quick hits

* Ezequiel Carrera, promoted after the Tigers’ trade for David Price on Thursday, hit .307 with 115 hits and 41 RBI in 97 games for the Toledo Mud Hens this season. He also had 43 stolen bases and was caught stealing 13 times.

* The Tigers now have the last three Cy Young Award winners in their rotation – Justin Verlander (2011), David Price (2012) and Max Scherzer (2013).
