  1. GM issues six new recalls, calls back 717,950 vehicles in U.S.

    Washington — General Motors said today it is recalling 717,950 vehicles in the United States in six new recall campaigns. None are related to ignition switch issues, and most are for minor problems. The new recalls mean GM has issued a record 60 separate recall campaigns this year affecting at least 29.7 million vehicles. GM didn't immediately have worldwide tallies for Wednesday's six recall campaigns.
