Plugging, pursuing leakers once again plagues White House

Despite what you may hear from some of his more fevered critics, President Barack Obama's recent scandal-quakes don't appear to fall anywhere near the level of Richard Nixon's Watergate disaster.

Clarence Page is a Chicago Tribune columnist who has been syndicated by Tribune Media Service since 1987. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 1989. Page, who was born in 1947, is an occasional panelist on "The McLaughlin Group" and a regular contributor of essays to "PBS NewsHour with Jim Lehrer."
