An increasing number of Michigan schools are meeting the "adequate yearly progress" standards of the federal No Child Left Behind Act, which measures graduation rates and student test scores, including marked improvement in Detroit.
To find your school, use this tool. First, pick a county and then narrow down your search using district and school. If you want to look at every school in a district, just choose "any" in the school box.
If a school fails to meet AYP for a number of years, its district can be forced to provide transportation to students to attend other schools.
