Auburn Hills— Pistons coach Lawrence Frank said Friday before Detroit's 7:30 p.m. game against the Atlanta Hawks that Tayshaun Prince will miss his second straight game because of an undisclosed family matter.

Prince also missed Wednesday's loss to the Miami Heat at The Palace of Auburn Hills. It's unclear when veteran forward could return to the team and the lineup.

Prince missed the team's Friday morning shootaround.

Frank also confirmed Friday that guards Ben Gordon (shoulder) and Will Bynum (foot), and forward Charlie Villanueva (ankle) also wouldn't play against the Hawks.
