Detroit — A Michigan State Trooper escaped injury after being involved in a crash with two other vehicles early Monday morning.
Details are limited, but according to the Michigan Intelligent Transportation System, the incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 94 at Livernois Road.
One of the other drivers was injured, but the extent of those injuries was unknown Monday morning. The crash closed the right lane of the freeway for about an hour, reopening to traffic by 3:36 a.m.
The trooper was able to drive his patrol vehicle from the scene.
