British singer Morrissey has canceled the rest of his North American Tour, including the April 8 date at Flint's Whiting Auditorium that was a make-up date for a canceled Jan. 24 show. A press release issued by his publicist Monday says Moz has been suffering from a bleeding ulcer, Barrett's esophagus and double pneumonia.
"Motown" rakes in cash
"Motown: The Musical" had a zinger of a preview at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on Broadway in New York, raking in nearly $1.03 million last week, according to a press release. Officially opening April 14, the musical is based on the life of Berry Gordy and features songs from the Motown catalog.
Lil Wayne out of ICU
Lil Wayne's is in stable condition after being hospitalized due to seizures stemming from an alleged overdose of codeine, TMZ is reporting. The rapper on Friday was hospitalized in intensive care after suffering another attack.
Bret Michaels first act announced for Grand Prix
Musician and reality show star Bret Michaels will perform during the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix on June 1, officials announced Monday. He's scheduled to perform at 6 p.m. on the MotorCity Casino Hotel Entertainment Stage. Additional acts will be announced soon. Tickets for the Grand Prix, $15-$155 are on sale now at www.DetroitGP.com.
Two more films approved for incentives
The Michigan Film Office has approved two more films, "Landlord" and "Papou" for tax incentives. Set in Hamtramck and written by Detroit native Nickola Shreli , "Landlord" is about a landlord whose daughter is abducted. The movie was awarded $34,870 in incentives on $118,784 of projected in-state expenditures. Writer/director Michael Angelo Zervos plans to use Kinetic Post in Southfield for post-production work on "Papou," about a bond between a dying grandfather and his imaginative grandson. Filmmakers expect to spend $182,089 in the state and have been approved for $54,990 in incentives.

Tiger Woods and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn confirmed their relationship via their respective Facebook pages. "It wasn't a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods," the 28-year-old athlete said in a post Monday.
