LL Cool J, Public Enemy, De La Soul due at DTE

Turns out when LL Cool J performed with Public Enemy on this year's Grammys telecast, it was a preview of things to come. Tickets, $59.50 and $35 lawn, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Cool J, who releases his new album, "Authentic," on April 30, will play with DJ Z-Trip . Mars opens up about bust

Pop singer Bruno Mars , who was busted for cocaine possession in Las Vegas in 2010, tells GQ, in its new issue, he lied to police when he was arrested when he told them it was his first time using cocaine. "I don't know where that came from. I was really intoxicated. I was really drunk," the singer says. "So a lot of that is a big blur, and I try every day to forget and keep pushing." Mars, who normally maintains a squeaky clean image, performs at The Palace on July 11.

Timberlake readying another album

Justin Timberlake 's new album, "The 20/20 Experience," was released Tuesday, but part two is already on the way. The Roots ' drummer ?uestlove announced over the weekend that Timberlake's set was only part one of his master plan, and Timberlake confirmed the news at his album release party in Los Angeles on Monday night. "I need to clear up a rumor," he told the audience, mentioning the album was only "the first half of the album. Those rumors are true!" he said. Timberlake did not announce a release date for the set's second half — 10 songs now, 10 songs later, as ?uestlove explained — but Mr. Love said part two would be out in November.
