Detroit – —While the Detroit Tigers battle it out in the American League Championship Series, remember to leave the lights on.
The “Light Up the City” campaign asks fans to leave the lights on in offices and buildings to help brighten the skyline and the city between 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. during nationally televised games played in Detroit.
For property owners with LED lighting that lights-up the facade of their building, leave them on — especially if the color is programmable. Blue and orange colors perhaps?
The Tigers will play to a nationally televised and sold out crowd in Detroit on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday if necessary.
