Hillsdale ó Alex Koski ran for two touchdowns and Alex Chludzinski returned an interception 28 yards Saturday to lead Hillsdale to a 35-16 victory over Wayne State Saturday in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Koski scored on runs of 3 and 2 yards and Chludzinskiís score was the winner for Hillsdale (3-3, 3-1). Isaac Spence scored on an 8-yard run and Wade Wood on a 3-yard run for Hillsdale.
Dominique Maybanks caught a 49-yard scoring pass from Carl Roscoe and Ethan Webb caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Doug Griffin for Wayne State (3-2, 3-2).
(At) Ferris State 54, Grand Valley State 44: John Vander Laan ran for 210 yards and two touchdowns and threw for two more for Ferris (4-2, 4-1).
Korey Ringer had TD runs of 33 and 35 yards and James Stewart returned an interception 62 yards for Ferris.
Kirk Spencer returned a kickoff 100 yards and had a 27 yard scoring run for Grand Valley (4-2, 2-2). Brendan Green caught a 68-yard TD pass from Heath Parling.
(At) Saginaw Valley 44, Northwood 28: Jeff Janis ran 25 yards for a score and caught a 26-yard pass for another for Saginaw Valley (5-1, 5-0).
Jonathon Jennings, who threw the TD pass to Janis, also threw a 26-yard TD pass to Andrew Dillon.
Jordan Junker caught scoring passes of 12 and 25 yards from Mitch Robinson for Northwood (2-4, 1-3). Former Michigan State running back Glenn Winston had 132 yards and a 4-yard TD run on 27 carries.
(At) Michigan Tech 31, Northern Michigan 7: Cole Welch scored on two 1-yard runs and Tyler Scarlett threw for 254 yards and a score for Tech (3-2, 3-2), which won the Minerís Cup in the game between the Upper Peninsula schools.
Brandon Cowie caught six passes for 113 yards for Tech and Ian Wienke caught a 13-yard TD pass.
Keon Collier scored on a 16-yard run for Northern (1-4, 1-4), which has lost four straight.
Adrian 41, (at) Alma 6: Aaron Tenney threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns and Deontae Bridgeman returned an interception 56 yards for a score for Adrian (6-1, 2-0 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association).
Nathan Hartline caught a 76-yard TD pass and Tyler Bruce a 23-yarder. Drew Collins had a 40-yard scoring run on his only carry.
Grant Wilson scored on a 1-yard run for Alma (0-6, 0-2).
(At) Albion 41, Trine 27: Dominic Bona threw for 273 yards and four touchdowns for Albion (3-2, 1-0).
Bona, who was 27-of-30 passing, threw TD passes of 14 and 25 yards to Zachary Brewer, who caught nine passes for 119 yards. Bonaís other scoring passes were 1 and 53 yards to Cody Crawford.
Darrin Williams had 97 yards rushing and an 18-yard scoring run.
Hope 47, (at) Olivet 14: Vincent Boddy caught two touchdown passes and Augie Mata retuned a blocked punt 60 yards for a score for Hope (4-2, 1-1).
Shawn Jackson, who ran for 104 yards on 20 carries, had scoring runs of 11 and 18 yards and threw a 29-yard TD pass to Boddy. Boddy also caught a 16-yard scoring pass from Michael Atwell.
Alante Sims (6 yards) and Chris Jones (4 yards) ran for scores for Olivet (5-1, 1-1).
