Penn State’s C.J. Olaniyan, who went to Warren Mott, was named Big Ten defensive player of the week.
Olaniyan, a junior defensive end, had eight tackles, including 2.5 sacks, in Penn State’s four-overtime win over Michigan.
Olaniyan’s teammate, quarterback Christian Hackenberg, was named Big Ten freshman of the week after throwing for 305 yards and three TD against the Wolverines.
