A 34-year-old Detroit man was charged this week for breaking into a Harper Woods pizza restaurant.
Police said David Matthew Anucinski was charged Sunday with breaking and entering a building after police arrested the known wanted felon as he rode his bike on Kingsville near Kelly road before 6 a.m. Saturday.
While in custody, police were notified of a burglary at nearby Nona’s Pizza. Police believed Anucinski was responsible for the crime.
Anucinski faces up to 10 years in prison. He is a parole absconder with a previous second-degree home invasion conviction from 2006.
Anucinski is being held in Wayne County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond. His preliminary examination is Oct. 30 in 32-A District Court.
