High scores from the judges weren’t enough to keep Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her partner Sasha Farber in the game during the seventh week of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” The pair earned 27 points from judges Monday night, but didn’t garner enough love from the voting viewers to continue.
The reality television personality’s elimination came as a bit of a surprise because comedian Bill Engvall and partner Emma Slater had gotten the lowest panel scores two weeks in a row.
Farmington Hills native Elizabeth Berkley Lauren and her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy danced first Monday night, earning a modest 27 points for their quickstep to Janelle Monae’s “Dance Apocalyptic.”
“You’re such a great dancer and you’re still growing,” cooed judge Carrie Ann Inaba to the “Saved by the Bell” star.
At the end of the show, with the scores from this week and last week tallied together, Elizabeth and Val placed third with 86 points, a bummer considering the pair earned a perfect score last Monday.
“Glee” actor Amber Riley and partner Derek Hough ended in first place Monday night in spite of both of them whining about injuries in practice. They stand tall with 91 points.
At the beginning of Monday’s episode it was announced that Cher would be a guest judge next week while judge Len Goodman takes a week off.
