Allen Park — Mid-term report cards are supposed to be progress reports, not the final assessment. They are meant to grade the work done to this point, but perhaps more significantly, they are an indicator of the expectations going forward.
So there shouldn't be too many “A” grades at the mid-term. They should be bestowed on those who have a proven record and have met their previous lofty, All-Pro standard.
