Uh-oh. Proud papa Dwyane Wade, 31, recently welcomed his third child to the world. Unfortunately, it wasn’t with the Miami Heat star’s fiance, actress Gabrielle Union, 41, according to E!News.com. Unsurprisingly, Union “was angry and distanced herself from Wade when she first heard the news,” according to an unnamed friend. But she apparently got over it. Union was “all smiles and flashing her huge diamond engagement ring” when the couple made a public appearance Christmas day. People.com reports Wade called the child “a blessing” in a press conference Monday.
One Direction crooner Niall Horan may have scored himself a girlfriend in Hungarian model Barbara Palvin, but the two are apparently trying to keep it all hush-hush. London’s Daily Mail reports the 20-year-olds were seen at a Herfordshire pub Monday night. In other One Direction news, Horan will have knee surgery later this month to correct an old injury, according to MTV.uk.com.
Phil's marital advice
“Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson, 67, just seems to like opening his mouth and courting controversy. In a 2009 video that recently surfaced, the old codger — briefly suspended by A&E Networks for anti-gay remarks printed in this month’s GQ magazine — advises men they’d do best to marry girls as young as 15, never mind that that’s against the law in most states. “You wait ’til they get to be 20 years old, the only picking that’s going to take place is your pocket,” People quotes the sage saying. “You got to marry these girls when they are about 15 or 16.” In other marital advice, Robertson tells guys they’d better make sure she can cook, too.
The girl's stylin'
If you were worried Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton might let her fashion guard down over the holidays, you can breathe a sigh of relief. Glamour.com reports when the 31-year-old royal arrived at Sandringham, her in-law’s country retreat on Christmas Day, the proud young mother looked smashing in a green-and-blue tartan Alexander McQueen dress coat paired with a hat from Gina Foster. No word on what Prince William or just-born Prince George were wearing.
