Young Jeezy arrested over alleged 2012 fight with son
Atlanta rapper Young Jeezy was arrested Tuesday because of an alleged September 2012 fight with his son, reports TMZ. Documents obtained by the gossip site report the rapper, who was in Detroit for two concerts last month, choked his son, punched him in the face and threatened to kill him. Jeezy (real name Jay Wayne Jenkins) was arrested in Atlanta for battery, false imprisonment and making terroristic threats. He turned himself in Friday and bonded out at $45,000. His lawyers told TMZ they have “no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately.” This isn’t Jeezy’s first tangle with the law. He was charged with carrying a concealed firearm in Florida in 2005 but charges were dropped. In 2008, he was arrested for DUI in Atlanta.
Ralph Lauren's niece 'dangerously drunk'
Jewelry designer Jenny Lauren, the 41-year-old niece of world-famous fashion designer Ralph Lauren, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of being dangerously drunk and being threatening and verbally abusive on a Delta flight from Spain to New York. Her alleged behavior forced Delta pilots to land the plane in Ireland where she was removed from the aircraft. She was freed on bond of $3,400 and ordered to stay in a hotel there and surrender her passport to the police station. Lauren’s lawyers said she intends to plead guilty to all three counts, the Associated Press reports.
