Detroit — Downtown ramps to the Lodge Freeway reopened after pipes burst Thursday at the revamped Cobo Center, causing water to spill on to the south- and northbound lanes of the expressway.
The Larned ramp closed to the Lodge about 8:30 p.m. Thursday due to a flooding hazard at Cobo Center, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
Diane Cross, MDOT spokeswoman, said water leak was stopped.
Bill Johnson, a spokesman for Detroit Water and Sewerage Department, said he had no information on the water leak.
On Wednesday night, westbound Interstate 94 near Trumbull was closed due to a water main break on a nearby side street, which flooded the highway.
