Pontiac— Two Pontiac men face drug charges following an investigation by the Oakland County Narcotics Enforcement Team of suspected heroin sales.
The probe of a house at 180 Edison in Pontiac resulted in the execution of a search warrant, seizures of drugs and two arrests, according to a release on Tuesday from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.
Facing delivery and manufacture of heroin and weapons charges are Maurice Edward Hobson, 26, and Willie Renard Craft, 36, both charged last week on felonies that carry up to five years in prison. NET officers also seized 32.1 grams of suspected heroin, four grams of suspected marijuana, two handguns, a digital scale, documents, packaging material, cellphones and more than $4,000 in cash
Each is being held in the Oakland County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash, no 10 percent bonds, pending a pre-exam hearing Thursday in Pontiac 50th District Court.
