Oakland athletic director Tracy Huth is resigning effective Jan. 31, school interim president Betty Youngblood announced in a statement Friday.
Huth was the school’s interim AD during the 2006-07 school year, and his position became permanent in 2007.
He has been married to Jenny Roulier-Huth, an assistant basketball coach at UCLA, since 2010. Roulier was fired as Oakland assistant basketball coach the year before that.
"It has been a privilege to be associated with Oakland University," Huth said in a statement. "My time and experiences here have been unique. To have been a student-athlete, coach and serve in multiple administrative capacities at one institution has provided opportunities that I realize are not typically afforded to one individual.”
Huth, a former swimming star at the school, also won five consecutive national titles as coach of the women's swimming and diving program (1990-94).
