Detroit — Police are allowing people to return to work Wednesday afternoon at the New Center One building in the New Center area after authorities cleared a bomb threat.
Police had blocked off a portion of West Grand Boulevard after a bomb threat was called in at about 11 a.m. According to the Detroit Police Department police, fire and the bomb squad were on the scene. People inside the building, which includes the Henry Ford Health Systems, were evacuated for several hours.
The New Center One building is located in the 3000 block of W. Grand Boulevard in an area just west of Woodward Avenue.
