Michigan guard Nik Stauskas has vaulted up to No. 14 on the latest Big Board of NBA draft prospects by ESPN’s Chad Ford, published Wednesday.
Stauskas was No. 43 on Ford’s previous Big Board two weeks ago.
“NBA 3-point shooting comes at a premium, and Stauskas' play this season has vaulted him from the first-round bubble into lottery territory,” Ford says. “His ability to handle the ball and his improved ability to get to the line this season is gravy at this point.”
Stauskas leads the Wolverines in scoring at 18.5 points per game. He has made 49-of-106 3-pointers (46 percent) this season and 98-of-196 field goals (50 percent) overall.
Michigan State guard Gary Harris, meanwhile, is up to No. 11, from 13th two weeks ago, and forward Adreian Payne is listed at 21st, down from No. 21.
Michigan forward Glenn Robinson is the final man on the list, at No. 30, down two spots.
Kansas center Joel Embiid remains Ford’s pick at No. 1.
