Farmington Hills Mercy defeated Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard 57-15 in a Catholic League quarterfinal on Saturday afternoon.
Mercy easily handled the overmatched Richard, leading 27-2 after the first quarter and 43-9 at the half.
“We are a veteran team,” Mercy coach Gary Morris said. “We came in focused and are ready for the next round.”
Junior Bridgette Lyons, a first year varsity player led Mercy with 11 points.
“This was a career high game for Bridgette,” Morris said. “She made the most of her opportunity.”
Sam Bauer and Allie Gordyca each had 10 points for Mercy (16-1).
Detroit Country Day 74, Saginaw Arthur Hill 20: Destiny Pitts had 19 points for Country Day (16-0).
Pontiac Notre Dame 46, Dearborn Divine Child 36: Sarah LewAllen had 16 points and Lindsey Klei had 13 for Notre Dame (11-4).
Southfield Bradford Academy 55, Romulus Summit Academy 43: Stephanie Murrey had 21 points and Shavonna Gholston added 15 for Bradford (11-5).
Detroit Country Day 79, Flint Northwestern 50: Maceo Baston had 30 points and 10 rebounds and Edmond Sumner had nine points and 13 assists for Country Day (9-6).
Detroit Allen Academy 72, River Rouge 55: Pakiya Ellis had 27 points and eight rebounds and Jason Williams Jr. had 27 points and seven assists for Allen Academy (14-1). Jalen Gibson had 21 for River Rouge (6-8).
