The behavior of Shia LaBeouf is getting stranger, even for a celebrity. Over the weekend in Berlin, the “Transformers” actor wore a brown paper bag on his head while walking the red carpet at the premiere for Lars Von Trier’s film “Nymphomaniac: Volume 1,” in which LaBeouf stars. The bag had eye holes cut out of it and “I Am Not Famous Anymore” written on it. He’s been tweeting that phrase daily since Jan. 20. Before the bag stunt, the actor stormed out of a press conference for the same film, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Just minutes into the press event, LaBeouf was asked about the film’s multiple sex scenes. His response was a quote from French soccer player Eric Cantona: “When the seagulls follow the trawler, it’s because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea. Thank you very much.” Then he left. “Nymphomaniac” co-star Christian Slater lightened the mood with a joke about sardines and the press conference continued.
Michelle Obama has advice for Bieber's mom
“I would be very present in his life right now,” is the advice Michelle Obama has for Pattie Mallette, the mother of troubled pop star Justin Bieber. “I would be probably with him a good chunk of the time, just there to talk, to figure out what’s going on in his head, to figure out who’s in his life and who’s not, you know,” said the first lady in an interview Friday with Univision.
Samuel L. Jackson mistaken for another
During a live interview Monday morning, KTLA-TV news anchor Sam Rubin mistook actor Samuel L. Jackson for Laurence Fishburne. The gaffe happened when Rubin asked Jackson about his Super Bowl commercial. Jackson, who was on the program to promote the new “RoboCop” film, looked confused, then disappointed and angry, telling Rubin he’s “as crazy as the people on Twitter. I’m not Laurence Fishburne. We may be all black and famous, but we don’t all look alike.” Fishburne stars in a KIA ad. Jackson didn’t let Rubin off the hook easily and didn’t miss the opportunity promote his Capitol One ad, saying “I’m the ‘what’s in your wallet’ black guy. (Fishburne) is the car black guy. Morgan Freeman is the other credit card black guy.”
