Michigan State athletic director Mark Hollis is at it again, announcing Wednesday the Michigan State menís basketball team will be part of a four-team barnstorming tour in December of 2018.

Michigan State, North Carolina, Florida and Texas have agreed to play three games, one each in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles over an eight-day period while traveling together on a single chartered airplane, Hollis told ESPN.com.

The games will be played Dec. 15 at Madison Square Garden in New York, Dec. 18 at the United Center in Chicago and Dec. 22 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. In between the teams will take part in activities in all the cities, including trips to the Freedom Tower in New York and Disneyland in California.

ďItís a very cool idea,Ē Michigan State coach Tom Izzo told ESPN. ďAt first I thought it was crazy, but itís during break so we donít miss any school. Itís three big games in a row, and with the ACC/Big Ten Challenge and other events (Champions Classic) we could have six or seven big games.Ē
