Letís try this again, shall we?
British singer Morrissey has scheduled a June 14 date at Flintís James Whiting Auditorium, according to tour dates released Thursday. The show follows several cancellations at the venue: Morrissey was originally scheduled to play there in Jan. 2013, but canceled after he was diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer on his way to the show, which led to him spending several days at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak.
The concert was rescheduled to April 2013, but that date was shelved when Moz bagged his entire tour, due to complications from the ulcer as well as Barrettís esophagus and double pneumonia.
Tickets for the newly announced concert go on sale March 1, according to a Whiting Auditorium representative; prices are TBA. The Flint date is part of a 25-show tour that kicks off in May in San Jose, Calif., and wraps June 21 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
St. Louis singer Kristeen Young will open for Morrissey, according to Billboard.
