A segment of the Woodward Loop in Pontiac remains closed Saturday after a water main break made the road impassable.
Crews are on the scene trying to identify the source of the leak to be able to fix the problem, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department. In the meantime, Woodward Avenue south of Cass Avenue is closed to traffic.
Officers were out all morning directing traffic away from the water. At first officers were letting people drive through, but the water soon became too deep for vehicles to travel through.
