The final Michigan-Notre Dame game for the foreseeable future will be played under the lights this fall at Notre Dame Stadium.
It will be played in prime time on Sept. 6 at 7:30 pm, NBC Sports announced Thursday. It will mark the fourth straight night game in the series.
This will be the 42nd meeting and the last scheduled between the nonconference rivals.
Michigan opens the season Aug. 30 against Appalachian State, but only the Notre Dame kickoff time has been revealed.
Spring practice begins next Tuesday and will conclude April 5 with a final scrimmage open to the public at Michigan Stadium.
