Indianapolis Taylor Lewan is the fastest offensive lineman at the 2014 NFL combine.

The former Michigan tackle ran the 40-yard dash Saturday in 4.87 seconds, the fifth-fastest time for an offensive lineman in the last nine years.

Lewan is a likely top-15 pick in this years draft and is considered the third-best offensive tackle behind Jake Matthews of Texas A&M and Greg Robinson of Auburn.

Robinson ran the 40 in 4.92 seconds, and Matthews finished in 5.07 seconds.

Lewan joked Thursday that he just wants to be drafted, but after his blazing 40 time, hes essentially guaranteed a spot in the first round.

I just want to be employed at the end of May, Lewan said. Im 22 years old, and Im about to be living with my mother. So April is going to be a long month.

Fellow Michigan offensive tackle Michael Schofield finished sixth among tackles this year in the 40 at 5.01 seconds.
