Michigan’s gold medal-winning ice dancers are ready to make their victory lap.
And it starts on the “Today Show.”
Meryl Davis, of West Bloomfield, and Charlie White, of Bloomfield Hills, will make an appearance on the NBC morning show Wednesday, and also will skate for the first time since taking gold in ice dancing at the Sochi Olympics.
They will take to the famous ice rink in Rockefeller Center, NBC announced Tuesday.
Davis, 27, and White, 26, performed brilliantly in the Winter Games to win the ice dancing competition, for which they entered as the heavy favorites after taking the silver medal at the 2010 Vancouver Games.
Davis and White also won a bronze in Sochi, as part of the U.S. figure skating team.
