Detroit ó On the day the Tigers began their Grapefruit League schedule, Vegas released win-total odds for the regular season.
And despite all the offseason changes, the Tigers are still a popular pick to approach 90 wins.
The Tigersí over-under for wins was set at 89.5 in odds released Wednesday by Bovada. Thatís the third-highest total for any team, behind only the Dodgers (92.5) and Cardinals (90.5)
The rest of the American League Central teams came in like this: Royals at 81.5, Indians at 80.5, White Sox at 75.5 and Twins at 70.5.
Detroit easily projects as the class of the division, despite this offseason losing Prince Fielder, Doug Fister, Omar Infante, Jhonny Peralta and Joaquin Benoit. The Tigers added the likes of Ian Kinsler, Joe Nathan and Rajai Davis.
The 2013 World Series champion Red Sox checked in at 87.5 wins, according to Bovada, while the Aís, whom the Tigers defeated in their first-round playoff series a year ago, are listed at 88.5.
