Here’s what you need to know:

■ A 10th-inning home run from Michael Brantley gave the Indians a 5-4 victory Monday night and ended the Tigers’ 11-game road winning streak. Detroit still has the best record in baseball, however, at 27-13.

■ Tuesday night’s Tigers starter, Justin Verlander, has won four straight decisions against the Indians. He has a 2.53 earned-run average with nine earned runs and 35 strikeouts in his previous five starts versus Cleveland.

■ Victor Martinez has a .369 batting average against the Indians, second highest among active American League players. Martinez is 66-for-179 with six home runs and 40 runs batted in 49 games against Cleveland.

■ Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera has three hits in each of his last three games.
