Detroit — Three people were injured Tuesday morning after a Detroit Department of Transportation bus collided with a vehicle on the city’s east side.
According to DDOT director Dan Dirks, the crash occurred at about 8:30 a.m. on Warren near Outer Drive in an area south of Interstate 94 and north of Mack.
“Three persons on the bus were injured and one was taken to the hospital,” Dirks said. “We’re still trying to determine exactly how the accident occurred.
“I’m unaware of the condition of the person taken to the hospital, but I’m usually told by police or supervisors if there are any serious injuries but that hasn’t happened so far.”
The crash remains under investigation.
