A passerby discovered the body of a woman at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday in the roadway of Gratiot Avenue near Glenwood, according to Officer Adam Madera.
Police had yet to identify the woman Wednesday morning, but Madera said she is believed to be 30-35 years old. Investigators are awaiting an autopsy from the Wayne County Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the woman and determine a cause of death.
