Stan Van Gundy adds three to Pistons coaching staff; Rasheed Wallace out

The Pistons formally announced the additions to Stan Van Gundy's coaching staff, all coaches Van Gundy is familar with during previous stops.

Brendan Malone, Bob Beyer and Charles Klask will join Van Gundy, while Adam Glessner was added as team scout. Malone was an assistant under late Pistons coach Chuck Daly and Klask returns to the Pistons after a year in Brooklyn. Klask, a Metro Detroit native, had two previous stints with the Pistons, first as a video coordinating intern in 2001, then as an assistant coach under Lawrence Frank from 2011-13.

Beyer was on Van Gundy's staff in Orlando from 2007-12 and spent the last two years in Golden State and Charlotte, respectively. Glessner was also with Charlotte last season, as a coaching associate.

Former Piston Rasheed Wallace, who was on the coaching staff last season, along with coaches Henry Bibby, Bernard Smith, advance scout Kamran Sufi and video coordinator Raman Sposato will not return.
