Relatives of a Detroit mother reported missing say her body was found Monday night in an abandoned home on the city’s west side.
Detroit police on Monday issued a notice that said Alicia Fox, 26, was last seen with her two children by her mother on May 24 at her home in the 18400 block of Ardmore.
Her family told WDIV-TV (Channel 4) that while passing out fliers they found her body wrapped in a blanket in a vacant home, but her son and daughter remain missing.
Detroit police described Fox’s children, Kaylah Hunter, 6, as 4 feet 7 inches tall, 65 pounds, with a light complexion and black hair in cornrows.
Erin Justice is 6 months old, according to the police release. Police did not release a physical description.
