Roseville police looking for bank robber

Robbery at Chase Bank in Roseville: The Roseville Police Department has released surveillance video of a suspect in the robbery of the Chase Bank branch on Groesbeck in Roseville.

Roseville — Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a bank at about 1 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, the incident occurred at the Chase Bank, located in the 30700 block of Groesbeck. No weapons were displayed and no one was injured.

Police said the subject entered the bank and verbally demanded money from a teller. An undetermined amount of cash was placed into a bag that the suspect brought with him.

The subject then fled the bank. A K-9 unit from the Macomb County Sheriff’s Department was brought in but was unable to track down the robber.

The suspect is described as a male, 25 years old, 6-foot-3 and about 170 pounds with a thin build. He was wearing a navy blue baseball cap with an orange “D” on the front.

He was wearing a peach colored shirt, bluejeans and white colored shoes with dark colored tread.

Police have photos and video of the suspect from the bank’s security system. Anyone with information is asked to call the Roseville Police Department at (586) 447-4484.
