Scout 300 for 2016 includes seven from Michigan, led by Daelin Hayes

The Scout 300 for the 2016 class was released Wednesday and it includes seven players from Michigan and one committed to the University of Michigan.

Orchard Lake St. Mary’s linebacker Daelin Hayes leads the in-state contingent with a No. 67 ranking nationally. He is 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, and Michigan and Michigan State are among his many offers.

No. 104 — Thiyo Lukusa, guard, Traverse City West, 6-5, 300

No. 122 — Michael Onwenu, guard, Detroit Cass Tech, 6-2, 285

No. 144 — Martell Pettaway, running back, St. Clair Shores South Lake, 5-9, 190

No. 147 — Desmond Fitzpatrick, WR, Farmington, 6-1, 187

No. 159 — Donnie Corley Jr., WR, Wyandotte Roosevelt, 6-1, 170

No. 295 — Matt Falcon, RB, Southfield, 6-0, 200

Offensive tackle Erik Swenson, the only player on the Scout 300 committed to Michigan, checks in at No. 86. Swenson, from Downers Grove (Ill.) South, is a four-star prospect and is ranked the No. 8 offensive tackle in the nation for 2016.

The No. 1 player on the Scout 300 is linebacker Keion Joyner of Havelock, N.C.
