The Scout 300 for the 2016 class was released Wednesday and it includes seven players from Michigan and one committed to the University of Michigan.
Orchard Lake St. Marys linebacker Daelin Hayes leads the in-state contingent with a No. 67 ranking nationally. He is 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds, and Michigan and Michigan State are among his many offers.

Offensive tackle Erik Swenson, the only player on the Scout 300 committed to Michigan, checks in at No. 86. Swenson, from Downers Grove (Ill.) South, is a four-star prospect and is ranked the No. 8 offensive tackle in the nation for 2016.
The No. 1 player on the Scout 300 is linebacker Keion Joyner of Havelock, N.C.
