Tips sought in May 30 armed robbery of east side McDonald's drive-through

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in a McDonald’s robbery on Detroit’s east side last month.

On Monday, police released surveillance footage of an armed man reaching through the drive-through window of the McDonald’s on the 20400 block of Conant.

In the robbery, which occurred around 1:27 a.m. May 30, he removed the cash register drawer and ran off with an undetermined amount of cash.

There were no injuries reported.

The suspect is described as five feet, eleven inches and 190 pounds. He is bald with a short beard and mustache with gray hair, and was wearing a black hoodie.
