Detroit — It's a bit early to think about at this point, but the Red Wings have announced their training camp schedule.
They'll hit the ice for the first time the morning of Sept. 19 in Traverse City, and continue daily through Sept. 23.
The Alumni and Celebrity Game will return for a second consecutive season on Sept. 20, at 7 p.m.
The 16th Annual Training Camp Golf Classic will take place Thursday, Sept. 18 at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit Involved Citizens Enterprises (I.C.E), a non-profit organization providing affordable skating programs to Northern Michigan.
The NHL Prospects Tournament will return to Traverse City for the 16th year, running from Sept. 12-16.
The eight-team tournament will include the Red Wings. Buffalo Sabres, Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues.
Tickets for all September events go on sale at Centre Ice Arena on July 7 from noon to 4 p.m.
Tickets for practice sessions are $10 for standing-room only, $15 for reserved seating and $20 for the mezzanine.
Tickets for the Red and White Game and Training Camp Alumni and Celebrity Game will start at $20 for standing-room only, $25 for reserved seating and $30 for the mezzanine.
