Wings play Penguins, Blackhawks, Bruins, Maple Leafs in preseason

The Red Wings' preseason schedule, announced Thursday, includes home and road games against the Penguins, Blackhawks, Bruins and Maple Leafs.

All home games are at Joe Louis Arena. Tickets for those games will go on sale on Friday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. at DetroitRedWings.com, or by calling the Joe Louis Arena box office (313-471-7575) or Ticketmaster (800-745-3000).

The Wings’ regular-season schedule will be announced later.


Sept. 22 -- at Pittsburgh, Consol Energy Center, 7 p.m.

Sept. 23 -- at Chicago, United Center, 8:30 p.m.

Sept. 25 -- Chicago, Joe Louis Arena, 7:30 p.m.

Sept. 27 -- Boston, Joe Louis Arena, 7 p.m.

Sept. 29 -- Toronto, Joe Louis Arena, 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 1 -- Pittsburgh, Joe Louis Arena, 7:30 p.m.

Oct. 3 -- Toronto, Air Canada Centre, TBD

Oct. 4 -- at Boston, TD Garden 5 p.m.
