Detroit — A school bus and a motorcyclist were involved in a crash Wednesday morning on the city’s west side, according to police.
There were no passengers on the bus, police said.
The crash occurred at 7:51 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Schoolcraft and Minock, Sgt. Michael Woody said. The 24-year-old motorcyclist from Westland was traveling eastbound on Schoolcraft when he was struck by the bus, which was headed north on Minock and driven by a man from Detroit.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where he is listed in critical condition. The bus driver was unharmed.
