Southfield Police are seeking the public's help in locating a Southfield man described as "armed and dangerous" after a weekend shooting in a gas station parking lot.

About 1 p.m. on Sunday, police were dispatched to a Marathon gas station parking lot in the 20000 block of West Eight Mile Road on a shooting.

Three people said they had been shot at, including a 19-year-old Southfield man who was wounded in the lower leg. He was treated and released from an area hospital for a non-life threatening wound, police said.

A preliminary investigation indicates the victim and the suspect, identified as Ismail Shak Hall, 22, know each other and the shooting stemmed from an earlier dispute.

Hall was contacted by phone and has not followed up on an agreement to surrender to police.

Hall is described as 5-foot-6, 140 pounds with short hair and brown eyes.

A non-in-custody warrant has been issued charging him with three counts of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and three firearms offenses in the shooting.
